I have numerous charging units for ipod/iphones and usually have a problem with them or sometimes they don't even work! I was amazed when I got this unit. It charges quickly and lasts a long time! I'm ordering three more for my wife and kids! Thanks for a great product.

Used it for the first time today. My iPhone 4s was at 2% power left and it took it all the way back up to 100% and only dropped down one light on the charger!!

I bought an IMP500 sight unseen as a Christmas present for my daughter. I liked it so much that I bought one for myself. It has a great capacity - about 3 times the size of my iPhone. I travel for work and have two iPhones and an iPad and this will certainly come in handy. An electrical outlet is not always readily available whether at the terminal or on the plane.
This model is slightly bulky, but then you have to consider the high capacity. It seems well built and of good quality. I like the convertible power cord which is retractable and makes it easy to store. The battery will charge via a computer USB port but I find that using the 10watt iPad charger is faster.
Overall, I think this is a great value and excellent quality for $39. I ordered it directly from Trent and which was easy and quick. I received it in about 3 days. Only criticism is that the manual is very minimal and not very informative.
