I've been wanting to get an external battery for my iPad for those times when you don't have access to an electrical outlet. This product is exactly what I was looking for. It's small and recharges with the charger plug that comes with Apple devices.

Shipping was fast, but product doesn't work as advertised, pressing the button does not start and stop charging to phone as described. I have to first press button to turn unit on and then unplug and replug for charge to begin every time. Cannot log in to my account to access order info for customer support reasons since the product was shipped with no invoice nor bill of sale with order # etc, as the login is states that the account doesnt exist, as if new trent send me a bad product and wiped out my account...however I did get an email confirmation for the order, so I know for certain that Im not mistaking with the wrong email. Dis-functional operation going on here.

This is my first external battery purchase. The product seems to be acceptable but the "manual" is deplorable. I read it before charging the battery or connecting a device to it. The manual is poorly written/translated in English, and my main complaint about it is that it is far too short. The New Trent site doesn't offer enough information.
The safety of my devices is my main concern. At this point I can only hope that this battery doesn't cause problems. I will contact customer support directly for more information.
